DanceSyndrome’s Corporate Partnerships

As a organisation focused on co-production, DanceSyndrome firmly believes in the power of different types of collaboration and we are always considering ways that we can form new and interesting partnerships. These can take many different forms, including straight-forward business sponsorship to support with running costs, in-kind donations of equipment or reciprocal exchanges of pro-bono services, amongst other ideas.

Business partnerships have proven to be really successful for us in recent years, as well as for the organisations we have partnered with. There are some examples of recent successes below.

If you are interested in working in collaboration with us, please get in touch via the Contact Us page.

No Fuss IT met DanceSyndrome at a local business networking group. As DanceSyndrome is a charity, No Fuss IT offered pro bono support to get our team transferred to a Microsoft Non-Profit contract. The support offered went above and beyond to enable us to successfully move over to Microsoft and, as a result, they have also done some paid work for us.

The No Fuss IT team supported DanceSyndrome with implementing a new IT strategy which has revolutionised every aspect of our IT operations. At each stage of the process, the team have proven to be knowledgeable, reassuring and supportive as we made significant improvements to our processes.

We’re incredibly grateful for all of their hard work & patience! In return, we have been keen to reciprocate their support by promoting of our partnership on social media and recommendations in presentations at networking events. This helps No Fuss IT to raise awareness of their own brand as well as promoting the fact that they are a socially responsible business with experience supporting growing organisations in the third sector.

“No Fuss IT have been working with DanceSyndrome for some time now, and it’s been a genuine pleasure working with the team and resulted in a true business partnership with great benefits to both parties.

Julie has fostered an amazing ethos and culture that further reinforces this mutually beneficial relationship creating a real sense of community.

We’ve both opened doors into other organisations on the back of the work we’ve done, vocal social media support, and energy from both sides.

I can highly recommend getting to know this amazing organisation, the work they do, and the team themselves and encourage taking every opportunity to explore partnership opportunities.”

The DanceSyndrome team met Mike Berry from Everyone Media at a local business networking group in Preston in 2021. He was keen to work with us and did some work with us on a pro bono basis filming one of our station takeover events and at a sponsored dance.

Mike’s style of filming lends itself well to DanceSyndrome’s need to tell human stories, so it was a great partnership which has evolved into paid work for Mike, who has been creating films for us on a film project to help with recruitment of Learning Disability Nurses that we are delivering, which is funded and commissioned by NHS England.

Mike has always gone above and beyond for us and we would always recommend him to any other organisation looking to make a similar type of film.

“Working with DanceSyndrome involves a business transaction, providing services and getting paid for the work we do, but over the last few years our involvement has grown to be much much more than that.

Working with such talented adults and children that include the mix of able-bodied and disabled dancers and dance teachers is a real privilege.

The skill and professionalism of all the dancers, staff and families behind the scenes is just outstanding, and lifts our own creative spirits every time we work with DanceSyndrome.”
