Purnima is the Chief Executive of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA) and a leading voice for the early years sector in the UK. She works closely with government, local authorities and the media to champion nurseries, children and families.

Since joining NDNA, Purnima has helped the organisation grow across England, Scotland and Wales, and expand its work internationally to the UAE, Saudi Arabia, China, India and Thailand. She also led the creation of the National Early Years Enterprise Centre in Huddersfield, which supports the early years community both nationally and globally.

With a background in senior leadership across public, private and charitable organisations, Purnima brings a wealth of experience in building partnerships and driving positive change. Her work has been recognised with an OBE for services to families and a CBE for services to early years education.

As a trained dancer, Purnima is passionate about the Arts and delighted to bring her leadership experience to the DanceSyndrome Board of Trustees.
