Cat asked to join the board of trustees because she is inspired by what the charity does to further the cause of disability awareness, inclusivity and unlocking potential within all of us.
Cat trained in the performing arts ‘back in the day’, and continues to get a kick out of dancing, singing and playing tenor saxophone. Cat continues to dance and seeks out any (and every) opportunity to perform on stage!
Cat has forged a successful career in business, specialising in sales and marketing. She currently works for a large global corporation and has also run her own SME, so brings business acumen and digital marketing, among other skills, to the table.
Cat shares her home with her husband and a dog called Buddy. When not practising or performing, she can be either seen atop her motorbike or behind a camera taking photos of live music performances.
Cat has been involved with charities all her life and is delighted to take on this role as Trustee for Dance Syndrome. In her words, “Dance is food for the body, mind and soul” and she’d like to help bring this to many more individuals.
